Features of Myspace
Myspace is a social networking website full of features but unfortunately it could not cope up with the features of Facebook and Twitter hence declining and losing its users. Features of Myspace are:

Bulletin board
Bulletin board is a page in every profile where the user can put up a post. That post can be viewed by everybody in the user’s friends list; hence saving the hassle of messaging every single person. Bulletin board can be used to post updates for example upcoming parties, and updates. There is a page with the same feature known as Facebook Notes on Facebook and can be viewed by user’s friends only or others as well depending on the privacy settings.

Groups
Myspace also has a group that can be formed for specific users or friends. This group can be used for posting text and pictures, and can be viewed by only the members of the group.

Instant Messaging
Myspace also has a feature of instant messaging. Instant messaging can be used to message your friends that are online and are available on instant messaging. A screen name needs to be created for Myspace and linked with the profile of Myspace. Myspace IM can also be used to receive other updates from your Myspace profile such as new friend requests, group messages, new IMs, and other updates.

Myspace TV
Myspace also introduced a website to share videos just like YouTube known as Myspace TV. At Myspace TV users could share videos but unfortunately it could not gain as much popularity as other video sharing channels such as YouTube. However, Myspace TV was used by other companies to promote this channel such as by Hulu.

Myspace Mobile
Myspace also introduced a mobile version of Myspace but it could only be used in specific phones - Phones which came with Pre-installed Myspace. If your phone did not have pre-installed Myspace then you cannot download it unlike Facebook, Twitter and other social networking websites.

Myspace News
Myspace also introduced Myspace News on its social networking websites. Myspace News viewed the news that would appear on RSS News Feed. It was connected to RSS and would show all the news that was displayed on RSS to Myspace News.

Myspace Classified Listing
Myspace also introduced classified listings for its users where its users could post classified listings for free. This feature of classified listing increased the usage of Myspace by 33 percent. A good way to increase traffic indeed.
