Woodcarver That Makes Amazing Things

Woodcarver John Merrit carves almost everything imaginable out from just one piece of wood. This individual doesn't do the work for cash. It is more like the challenge of making very complicated items as gifts meant for his better half and close friends for him. Couple of his works include a chain crafted from a toothpick and also the amazing "balls inside boxes" that he created out of a single piece of wood.

Furniture Made of Wood and Aluminum

This unique home furniture that combines cast aluminum together with wood is work of designer Hilla Shamia. Molten aluminium is applied directly on top of the wooden surface which will burn the surface, as a result furniture have a black border between aluminum and wood. Each and every item is unique, with the aluminum "leakage" different from one product to another.

This portable house as a pile of logs created by a friend of Hans Liberga - architect Piet Hein Eykom (Piet Hein Eek). Of course, this wooden structure only the outer part. The frame is made of metal and plastic. So this house is stable and robust. 

Inside this house fit only one room. There is a foldout sofa, a few cabinets, a desk, Hans Liberga and a few chairs.

Wooden Toys Mimushi

Mimushi able to take an infinite number of different ways." Conceived of and created Mimushi artist from Miami, known as Blattke. Each figurine is created manually. In the month Mimushi Design is able to produce no more than 80 pieces. To date, created 119 copies of the first series, called the Dauntless Gatekeepers (Fearless gatekeepers).
