One Of a Kind House Of Stone

Probably, each one of you (including me) saw this picture many times before, and thought it is photoshoped. However, it's a real place in Portugal known as Casa do Penedo. Literally translated "House of Stone" which is situated in Northern Portugal. It was at first constructed as a mountain retreat approximately 1974 by an engineer, motivated with the natural area given by four huge boulders. Even though house may look antique, it isn't without amenities, such as a fireplace along with a swimming pool created using one of several huge rocks. As a result of current attention generated by the house and its particular distant location, House of Stone was the subject of robbery attempts and vandalism recently. At this moment, the house is equipped with bulletproof windows as well as a metal front door. Inside, the home is reported to be very comfortable, having stone furniture, stairway, and railings made of logs.

The house ended up being the topic of a story in Portuguese media, that provides a look into the house's interior:

Abandoned UFO Houses

What you can see listed here are incredible images of the abandoned housing complex known as San Zhi close to Taipei, Taiwan. It had been apparently constructed in the early 1980s as being a group of holiday family homes promoted towards wealthier Taipei citizens desiring to escape the town. The rumors about the reason why the location was left behind varies, with the most intriguing being that the number of lethal accidents took place while in building, resulting in residents to think the location was haunted, and so instigating the developer’s determination to quit building. The houses hardly ever truly became popular in terms of preferred living places, however they did turn into a bit of a tourist magnet for a long time.
Unfortunately the structures were demolished in 2010, yet a large collection of photos displaying the fantastical house complex continue to lives on Flickr.
