Tom is the type of cat who wants a relaxing life. He wants to sleep and eat and catch that pesky mouse! He is forever chasing Jerry around and there have not been many episodes where he actually manages to catch him! There have been a couple of occasions, which have just made fans realise that they are secretly friends as Tom hasn't gobbled the little brown mouse up!
