Photographer Sabine Pearlman's photo series named "Ammo" offers the
cross sections of 900 units of bullets. The bullets ended up cut up and
photographed inside a WWII bunker in Switzerland. The clean cuts uncover
amazing and sophisticated designs of primers, powder, metal, together
with other elements that most individuals hardly ever view or think
about.
"The cross-sections reveal a hidden complexity and beauty of form, which stands in vast contrast to the destructive purpose of the object." Sabine says "It is a representation of the evil and the beautiful, a reflection of the human condition."
