Disadvantages:
The work is done on the basis of contracts and these contracts get terminated upon completion. The continuity of the relationship isn’t possible, and limited control over the consultant is another problem a company can face. A well-established consulting company requires to be paid on a high scale and it makes the consultation costly. In case the client hires a low cost company, the productivity and the quality of the project may be compromised. This poses as another problem for the client company.
