Indore, as the largest city in Madhya Pradesh is also the commercial capital of the state. Its approximately 2,100,000 inhabitants from different communities form a cosmopolitan culture. Homes in Indore benefit of a well-developed infrastructure throughout the city, which facilitates life in the 147th largest city in the world.

Indore became an important hub as its located in the commercial route between the Deccan and Delhi during the Maratha Empire. Today, a diverse culture remains thanks to the presence of the various communities who have been settling here since those days. The city is famous for its sweets as well as its salted snacks and dry fruits. Indore’s main industry is software, but garment and retailing are also important in the region.

People having their homes in Indore can enjoy the calmness and tranquillity of a small town, while having the benefits of a well-developed city. The city owes its growth mostly to the development of the infrastructure of the city. All the homes in Indore are well communicated. The airport, which the busiest one in the state is only about 8 km from the city, and it has a brand new international terminal, which was just inaugurated this February. Its railway station is one of the most important ones on the Western Railways path. Indore is also connected to its neighbouring cities by buses touring the national and state highway. Inside the city, transport is mainly conducted by state buses, which operate on 36 routes, each one marked with a different colour in its buses, and have around 170 bus stop stations. There is a proposed project for a rapid transport system, which includes a metro system with 3 corridors, and a monorail. If these projects get approved, lifestyle quality in Indore will increase exponentially, as well as real estate value.  The Metro Taxi service in Indore is known as the best in the whole country. Auto rickshaws, local buses and vans complete local transport.  The medical and educational institutions are also highly developed by the local government, and there are plenty of shopping centres, like the Khajuri Bazaar.
