Diamonds are formed by the natural process of volcanic eruptions and are found deep down the earth’s crust. During the process of formation, some internal features called inclusions are developed in diamonds. These inclusions can cause the value of diamonds to reduce. However, perfect diamonds are very rarely found and are costly. Diamonds with visible inclusions are cheaper than those with inclusions that cannot be seen with naked eye. Other than these internal inclusions, diamonds can also have irregularities on its surface like a scratch. Such irregularities are known as blemishes.
