Change management is a novel concept which requires the cooperation and coordination of systems, people, and information throughout the change life cycle of an organization allowing it to cope with the rapidly changing business environment. However, many businesses in Pakistan even if responsive to the need of change are ill-prepared to cope with the challenges presented by change. If our industry needs to grow and become competitive with its international counterparts, it needs to create a well-defined change management process that will enable it to take a proactive approach and push for changes that can make it more competitive and profitable.
