Hubble’s Hidden Treasures

Having more than one million observations ever since the Hubble Space Telescope has been launched, quite a lot of its most wonderful photos haven't been viewed previously by any person, until recently. The truth is, a number of photos in fact clearly show objects that no one knew was there before. They are, as the European Space Agency names these, "Hubble's hidden treasures," the undiscovered mystery galaxies and stars which have remained invisible in the Space Telescope's data vaults until the ESA asked everyone to jump in on a mission to discover them.

We call these pictures Hubble’s hidden treasures, and a few months ago, we invited the public to look through Hubble’s science archive to help us find them.
The response was impressive, with almost 3000 submissions. More than a thousand of these images were fully processed: a difficult and time-consuming task
