Jim Dingilian works by using candle smoke in order to paint this original images inside empty bottles. Precisely how he manages to make this kind of precise images within the bottle is still unknown, but I do believe that he uses some kind of thin instrument to scratch at the candle smoke.
I think the title is misleading...the smoke is not "bottled", as the bottle is "burnt", whereby the soot, being the medium of the art.
ReplyDeleteI some what agree with you Anonymous but you must admit the idea, execution, and finish work is fresh original pleasing to the eye. As far as I know nothing like it has been done by any other artist. Bravo to Mr. Dingilian nicely done sir.
