Giant Gingerbread House

To support raise funding intended for The Great Ormond Street Hospital, architectural agency Alma-nac has been commissioned by The Brunswick Center to make a huge gingerbread house in their gallery. Fully edible, this 10-foot tall house includes an opening front facade along with many interactive and lovely details like a jelly chandelier, popcorn-popping chimney and many more. The outside of the house was shingled in more than 2500 tiles made out of gingerbread, vanilla shortbread and chocolate shortbread. On the inside, all the wall surfaces were covered with Belgian waffles, pink wafers and bourbon biscuits.
