Bizarre Phobias

“A phobia is an irrational, persistent fear of certain situations, objects, activities, or persons. The main symptom of this disorder is the excessive, unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject.” Of course we are all probably familiar with the more commons phobias: claustrophobia-fear of tight spaces, agoraphobia-fear of open spaces. But how about neophobia-fear of newness or panphobia-fear of everything. Here are some other bizarre phobias that will hopefully help you feel a little more normal.
