the person who did this should be ashamed of himself, killing animals for no reason but fun....there are a million different ways to get rid of them without killing the whole swarm
This guy is an idiot! Bees swarm for a short period & then go find a new nesting site. And with the fact that bees are in short supply in the world & need all the help they can get, I'd like to burn his bollocks off!
First off, the Anon that said bees are animals...You're a fucking retard.
Second; the anon that says bees are in short supply...there's 500 fucking species of bees, and this guys burning them in his back yard...fuck off, it's not like he shot a goddamn bald eagle.
third; the anon that said life can't exist without bees...read above.
fourth; the anon that thinks honey will cost 100 a kilo...think...when was the last time you TRULY...DESPERATELY...could not LIVE without honey? I haven't even SEEN honey in the last 3 months at LEAST. My own mother still has a bottle in her pantry from when I was 10...i'm twenty years old. NO ONE USES IT. Sept tea drinkers and biscuit lovers.
I think the world will be just fine with 200 less bees in one urban region...god you people are dumb.
Well i commend the guy. Good thinking. I would rather be paying more for honey than dealing with an aggravated child who got stung while trying to play on his/her swing set.
Yep, these are bees, not wasps. Wasps do not swarm. This is a bunch of bees looking for a new home. They will hang in a bunch while scouts go searching. When they find somewhere, they will all fly away. Bottom line, no action needed. They will be gone in a couple of hours. Meantime, swarming bees are docile, because they are full of honey (they feed up for the trip) and they have no hive to defend. You can scoop them up in your hand and they won't sting.
Ignorance is dangerous. These are bees and very useful animals for human. Bees are major pollinator insects and are necessary to fertilise flowers. Without them: no fruits and no seeds. Consequences ? in a long term: no more vegetables (e.g. no trees) - on a short term: no more products derived from fruits and seeds (e.g. vegetable oil, corn, chocolate, peanuts, etc...). So yes it is a waste, and indeed the global population of bees on earth is declining.
Smart guy :)

Really nice way to get rid of them. I appreciate your creative idea thanks for sharing it.
