
All drawing has a basic point to start. As you look at the samples we have below you can see that all of them start out on the left as simple shapes. Once you have the shapes in place then you can start to fill in the animal.

Go slowly at first and don't try to make the final drawing from the very start. Artists call this setting proportions. Once you have the second part of the drawing done you can start to color in the rest of the animal and make it start to look real. Artists call this rendering.

Take you time and work slowly. It will take practice but then you will see that it begins to get easier and easier.
